8th Annual Sculpture Trail

The 2022-2023 Sculpture trail features 12 works by artists from North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, New York, and Pennsylvania. Ten of the sculptures are located in Downtown Clayton and are a short walk or bike ride from the center of town. Two others are just a little further away - one can be found at the roundabout on E. Front Street and one at the Clayton Community Center on Amelia Church Road.

The 2022-2023 sculpture selection committee included local artists, residents, business owners, elected officials, civic leaders and Town staff. The committee was assisted by Jim Davis. Artists receive an honorarium for each sculpture selected. In addition, participating artists are eligible to compete in a People's Choice vote, in which the public selects the winner of an additional award.
